MEET OUR TEAM
Chef Nena, Jeanette & Brian
We are an intergenerational household and trio of business partners. A big part of our ethos is that healthy food can be flavorful, rich, and delicious.
At Café 15, a lot of our menu decisions are inspired by what’s in season at the local Farmers’ Market. We make almost everything from scratch—including our aioli, pesto, pickles, salsa verde, and salad dressings—and people have told us they can feel the difference.
Alongside offering vibrant, nutritious dishes, we also invest a lot of time into researching and developing new components for our menu. It takes a lot of trial and error, but figuring out how to tailor for our eaters—whether it’s a walnut-based meat that’s now more popular than beef in our enchiladas, a custom blend of spices that impeccably captures the flavor of Brian’s mother’s arroz con gandules, or a new formulation for a fluffy, grain-free sandwich bun (coming soon!)—is hugely rewarding for us.
We regularly ask ourselves: How can we be part of the fabric that will take our current food systems to the next level? How can we help make delicious, nutritious meal options accessible to everyone in our community? How can we make people feel connected and empowered through food?
